About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Programme Officer to support the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of our programmes and community-focused initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with programme staff, partners, community stakeholders, and other relevant teams to ensure that activities are delivered effectively, on schedule, and in line with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and implementation of programmes and projects.
  • Coordinate programme activities, meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Work with partners and community stakeholders to support effective programme delivery.
  • Assist with monitoring programme activities, outputs, and outcomes.
  • Prepare programme reports, presentations, briefing notes, and other documentation.
  • Maintain accurate programme records and project documentation.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify implementation challenges and contribute to practical solutions.
  • Participate in field visits and programme activities when required.
  • Contribute to organisational learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, project management, development work, or a related area.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Experience working with nonprofit, development, community, or social-impact organisations is an advantage.
